Dr. James Geiselman, DC, MS, DACBN, CCSP, CES, CNC, NREMT
Chiropractic Physician
Associate Professor of Allied Health
Associate Editor - Nutritional Foundations
Dr. James is an Associate Professor of Allied Health at Graceland University in Lamoni, IA. He is also a chiropractic physician focusing on functional health and nutrition. He began his career as a paramedic before continuing his education and earning his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree in 2015. After graduation, Dr. James entered into private practice in Northeast Ohio exclusively treating personal injury patients.
After practicing in Ohio for a year, Dr. James began working on his Master of Science degree in Nutrition and Human Performance from Logan University and graduated Summa Cum Laude in April 2017.
Currently, Dr. James is an Associate Professor of Allied Health, Assistant Editor for the journal, Nutritional Foundations, and runs an online practice which sees clients from across the country. He works to educate, inspire, and empower his clients to achieve their aspirations for optimal health and to become active participants in their healthcare via his online functional health practice.
When he is not busy teaching or seeing clients, Dr. James enjoys volunteering his time as the Team Chiropractor for the GU Men’s Wrestling team, attending concerts, and spending time with friends and family.

Drew Sams, MS, CPT, CNC, CES
Fitness Professional
Head Wrestling Coach
Drew is the Head Men’s Wrestling Coach at William Penn University in Oskaloosa, IA. He has earned several national certifications including his Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Certified Nutrition Coach (CNC), and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
After graduating from Graceland University with his Bachelor of Science in Allied Health with a concentration in Applied Health Science in 2021, he completed his Master of Science in Nutrition and Human Performance Degree with a concentration in Sports Nutrition and Performance in 2023.
Currently, Drew works as the Head Men’s Wrestling Coach at William Penn University. He works to educate the next generation of students and to pass on his knowledge of wrestling and nutrition to his student athletes.
When Drew is not fulfilling his head coaching and helping clients, Drew spends free time on the golf course or with friends and family.
Drew is married to his wife, Rachel Sams, and they recently welcomed the addition of their son, Meyer, to the family. Drew and his family currently live in West Des Moines, Iowa.
